A Venetian chronicle, dated 13th September 1450, told us about the first siege of Kruja, for the courageous defense of Scanderbeg, for the supply made by the Venetian ruler of Shkodra with flour and bread to the Ottoman armies. If “the Leader of Shkodra, is written in the chronicle, does not furnish the Ottomans, he will quit from this campaign, so it is feared,- it is highlighted in this document, that Scanderbeg will conquer the lands of the Republic.
