One of the oldest employees of Radio Tirana, Mark Gurakuqi was born in Pogradec, on November 2nd, 1922. He studied in Normale School in Elbasan, while he followed the higher studies, in Florence of Italy, in Belgrade and he was graduated in Philology in Bulgaria. He was distinguished as a lecturer, writer, publicist and researcher. After the liberation, he has worked in the radio and in the “Union” newspaper, but often we find his name in the pages of “Voice of Youth”, “Light” , “November”, “Hosteni” publications . He left a biographical book, “Luigj Gurakuqi”, “The authors of the problems of the 30s”.
