After breaking the resistance of the Albanian democratic forces, the troops of Ahmet Zogu, helped by the Yugoslav forces of Pashic the Russian in north and Greek in south on December 24th, 1924, entered in Tirana and overthrown the government of Fan Noli. His government existed only six months. 24 December is known as the day of legality triumph.
