The author of the drama “Cuca e maleve” Loni Papa was born on March 28th, 1932. After graduating from the University of Tirana, he worked as a teacher and journalist; in leisure he did not stop writing. Dozens and dozens of poems, stories, tales and fables in his name are found in the press beginning from the late 50s. Loni Papa also excelled in its dramas. These are staged in Tirana and other cities. His masterpiece “Cuca e maleve” became famous and on its base was established the ballet with the same name. The varied and rich creativity brought to Loni Papa the Republic Award and several other national awards.
