It is up to our day the consecration act of the church of St. Triphon in Kotor, dated 19 June 1166. It mentions several senior Arberian clerics, such as Archbishop Lazari of Arberia, abbot of Archbishop of St. Shelbuen, Andrea a priori Of Arberia and so on. The participation of senior clergy at this ceremony speaks not only of the existence of the Principality of Arber before 1166, but also of its relations with other feudal Balkan and arboreal principals. As is well known, the Principality of Arber, is the first state feudal formation of Albanians in the Middle Ages, documented since the XII century. This speaks not only of the autochthony of Albanians, but also of their state-building skills, for the social development of our people, in addition to those of Europe.
