In Pristina, on September 1, 1888, was born the “Deserved Teacher”, Ahmet Gashi, geographer, historian, cartographer and scholar. He has educated generations of students in Kosovo and mainly in Albania. He has actively participated in the patriotic movement for the liberation and progress of our nation. It is one of the pedagogues who has left a rich legacy: textbooks, geographic and historical maps and study monographs.
