The Senate of Venice, gathered on October 10th, 1448, observing the situation after the consecutive defeats o Sultan in Albania instructed his supporter to urge the Turkish against Skanderbeg, causing his end and destruction. To urge the divergence between Skanderbeg and Pal and Nikoll Dukagjini, was expressed in the instruction, and if all of these will not have success they had to promise to the Albanian leaders’ money and the expansion of trade.
