Lasgush Poradeci was born on December 27th, 1899 in Pogradec. When he was10 years old he went in Bitola to continue his studies and later in Athens, where he finished the Lyceum. In summer 1924 the government of Fan Noli gave him a scholarship so he completed his studies in Graz (Austria) at the Faculty of Romano-German Philology. He is one of the greatest lyrical who was known for his poetic sensibility and sweetness with which he wrote for Albania and for love. On November 12th, 1987, Lasgush Poradeci died leaving behind a beautiful literary work.
