Before this, on Nov. 2, 1922, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the first president of modern Turkey, of Albanian origin, interrupted the diplomatic relations with Albania, in response to the announcement of the monarchy and family relationships created between the Albanian royal family and inverted Sultan.
