The Albanians resident in Ragusa, on January 14th, 1847 sent a “Call” to the Albanian people for the establishment of a committee that will organize and lead the general insurgency against the Ottoman invading. The announcement was formulated by Josif Bageri patriot and was published in the newspaper “Shpresa e Shqypnisë”.
