In Dibra, on February 1945, was born Musa Piperiku, the conductor, composer, and art critic. In Prizren he finished the musical High School and graduated in music theory in Belgrade. He began his career as a music teacher in Dibra, and later was appointed to editorial office of the music in Radio Skopje. He worked for several years in Radio Pristina. As composer he creates enough songs for children and adults based on Albanian folk music. His songs are performed by great singers like: Sulejman Borova, Nexhmije Pagarusha, Haxhi Maqellara, Shpresa Gashi, etc.
