The Italian albanologist Francesco de Mario da Lecce finished the research “Grammar remarks on the Albanian language and its orthography” on October 20th, 1715. A year later this research was published. With this research he entered in the Albanian grammatology as the author of the oldest grammar in Albanian language, also as the author of the oldest grammar of Balkan languages. The work of Francesco da Lecce returned to a table book for many researchers for Albanian language and Albania.
