On January 25th, 1907 the members of the society “Bashkimi” wrote to “Shpresa e Shqypnisë” newspaper for the merger of companies “Dituria”, “Drita” and “Shpresa” of Bucharest, in a single society the named “Bashkimi”. The new company will aim as those first, to print books in Albanian, help and open national schools in Albania and elsewhere. Under the influence of the company “Bashkimi” was formed in Odessa, Russia the Albanian expatriate society named “Përlindja” that recruited Albanians who lived in Bessarabia.
