25th September 1371, the head of Vlora, Aleksander Komnen fell in the battlefield; Balkan alliance was defeated by the Ottomans

On September 25^th and 26^th , 1371, occurred  a bloody battle between Ottomans and Balkans Alliance forces in Cermen, in the river banks Marica. In this battle participated the Albanians princes too.  In this unequal battle Balkan allies were defeated badly, leaving in the battlefield many dead people. Among killed was also Aleksander Konmen, the head of Vlora and Kanina.
