Riza Pasha
Më 25 Tetor 1880, Sulltani e zëvendësoi sundimtarin e Shkodrës Riza Pasha me marshallin Dervish Pasha, i cili njihej si dorë e fortë e Perandorisë Osmane. Në krye të 21 batalioneve, ai u vesh me fuqi të jashtëzakonshme, për të thyer rezistencën e shqipëtarëve, që kundërshtonin lëshimin e Ulqinit dhe tokave të tjera shqiptare.

Riza Pasha
On October 25th, 1880, the sultan replaced the of Shkodra, Riza Pasha with the marshal Dervish Pasha who was known as the strong hand of the Ottoman Empire. On top of 21 battalions, he was clothed with extraordinary powers, to break the resistance of the Albanians, who opposed the issuance of Ulcinj and other Albanian lands.
