Based on the information collected by Charles Telford Erikson on the difficult situation in Albania, in February 1919, was formed in Italy the first unit of the American Red Cross, which arrived in our country on February 26th, 1919. It was directed by Eriksson, who played an important role in the Albanian public life of the time.
