In the cave of Dragobia, fighting against the mercenaries of Ahmet Zogu, died heroically on March 29th, 1925 the warrior from Kosovo Bajram Curri, Hero of the Nation. For this great loss Faik Konica wrote in the newspaper “Dielli” that was published in Boston “with the confirmed death of Bajram Curri, was disappeared an old noble face from the Albanian square.” And below he added, “He was liberal among the despotism, patriot among the ignorance towards the Fatherland”.
