Dom Ndre Zadeja, in April 1937, published the melodrama “Siege of Shkodra”, based on Barlet’s anonymous work. That same day, on the 29th, of that month, the work was performed in the Theatre Hall of the Saverian School. The show had a great success. The melodrama’s music “The Siege of Shkodra” was composed by Dom Mikel Koliqi, passionate about the art of music. He set up and directed the choir that participated in the realization of the melodrama.
