On January 3rd, 1987, died Gjekë Gjokaj the professor from Kosovo. He was born in Miled of Malesia. He took the first lessons in his hometown and graduated in pedagogy and philosophy at the University of Pristina. He was among the first Albanian professors who went to Montenegro to teach in Albanian schools. Until 1981, he taught at several schools in Tuzi and later worked as an editor of textbooks in Albanian language. Gjekë Gjokaj is the author of several textbooks in Albanian language and the first Albanian primer in Montenegro.
