January 5th, 1880, the Great War of Albanian volunteers, in defense Plava and Gucia

The struggle for the protection of the Albanian regions of Plava and Gucia from the annexation of Montenegro, continued two years. The decisive battle between the Albanian volunteers and Montenegro became, on January 5^th, 1880, in Velike and Pepic, where after three days of bloody fighting were defeated the Montenegrin forces. It had a great effect that crossed the boundaries of Albanian territories and united more Albanians around the League of Prizren.
