5 November 1923, the establishment of the high school of Gjirokastra

The High School of Gjirokastra, one of the first general high schools of our country, was established on November 5^th, 1923. It was the first school where the boys and girls taught together, Muslims and Christians. During the occupation of the country, the school became one of the hearths of anti-fascist resistance.
