6 December 1454, Alfonso, ally of Skanderbeg, asked to the Pope for the support against the ottoman

Alfonso, the king of Naples and ally of our national hero Gjergj Kastriot, on December 6^th, 1454, officially asked the Pope to assume burden of the anti-Turkish campaign. He suggested to the Holy Father to put on anti ottoman service the papal felt and help the Albanian war front, with 1000 infantrymen and 200 knights.
