“Besa-Besë”
On January 6th, 1907 in Boston of the United States of America was established the patriotic society “Besa-Besë”. Its president was elected Fan Noli, vice president Goni Katundi and Secretary Nini Fani. The Society held an intense patriotic and cultural event among the Albanian immigrants. This society published the newspaper “Dielli” and in 1912, by joining with other patriotic associations, established the Pan Albanian Federation “Vatra”, which is often called as the Albanian government in exile.
