The writer Naum Prifti was born in Rehova, Kolonja, on March 7th, 1932 and studied at the University of Tirana. After graduating in language and literature he was named editor in the newspaper “Zëri i rinisë” and then in the journal “Hosteni” and “Ylli “. He published “Tregime të fshatit”, “Lëkura e ujkut”, “Çezma e florinjtë”, “Litari i zjarrtë” etc. From his pen have come also some dramas like “Mulliri i Kostë Bardhit”, “Udha e shkronjave”, which are played on stage and screened. In 1992, he emigrates to Boston, USA, where he continued his literary and patriotic activity.
