On December 29th, 1944 was reestablished and began its activities the Albanian Telegraphic Agency, the information central institution of the Albanian state. It has existed since the time of the Kingdom and initially it was under the Ministry of Internal Affairs and then passed under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. After the liberation was expanded, turning into the only source of the information for the internal events but especially for the external ones of the press and Albanian TV.
