On January 22nd, 1828, in Bucharest was born Gjika Elena, one of the prominent personalities of our Renaissance. She has served with her rich activity and creativity as a connection among our nation and the great family of other nations, especially Romanian. We can find her name in the most prominent newspapers and magazines of the time. She was known and was welcomed with honor in all over the yards the world.
