On January 30th, 1944, in Fier was born the agronomist and journalist Jani Gusho. He did the seven years school in his hometown. Then he has continued the agricultural school in Kavaja and was graduated in agronomist at the Higher Institute of Agriculture of Kamza. He has done courses for economy and journalism. In 1976 he was appointed editor for agriculture in the newspaper “Zeri i Popullit”. During the years 1983-1992 he has left traces in the newspaper “Dita e informacionit” in the Agri-food Department of Information with the Bulletin of Agricultural Sciences and the newspaper “Vëllazëria”.
