The Italian reformer playwright Carlo Goldoni was born, on February 25th, 1807. He is known as the founder of the Italian national the comedy. He has left 267 plays that are permeated by humanitarian ideas and sharp criticism of the shortcomings of the society. The Albanian public is know with the creativity of the great dramatist, through the comedy ” Zonja e bujtinës ” and ” Shërbëtori i dy zotërinjëve ” that are played with great success by the Albanian amateurs before the liberation, inside and outside the country, for the survival of our ancient and original language and culture.
