On February 27th, 1878 the Greek band coming from Corfu landed in Lëkuras, near Saranda and tried to incite the insurrection among the Albanian population. With this they intended, that in the last moments of the Russian-Turkish war, taking place at that time to secure something from the “spoils of war”. Such activities and manoeuvres, that have been common tactics of politicians and military Greek chauvinists, prove that they never give up to their anti-Albanian plans. At the same time the rapid disintegration of Greek conspiracies indicated that they will receive the deserved response whenever they will make plans against Albania.
