On March 23rd, in Gjakova, was born the patriot and professor Xheladin Nushi. He was only 11 years old when he came to Durres, to protect and build the state of Albanians. He fought alongside with Colonel Thomson, against the rebels of Esat Pasha Toptani and the foreign king awarded him with the medal of valor and sent him for studying in Austria. He attended the school there and later the Commercial Academy, and gave his doctorate at the University of Vienna. After returning in homeland he was appointed a lecturer and Director of the Commercial School in Korca and after two years, he replaced Harry Fultz-at the Technical School in Tirana. There he worked until April 7, 1939, where he left to Turkey and later went in Damascus, Syria.
