The Patriotic Society committee “Shpresa”, on 15 August 1902, organized a manifestation of Albanian emigrants in Bucharest. Speaker of the association, Pandeli Durmishi and her secretary Asdreni spoke on this occasion. After the ceremony, the participants went through the streets of Bucharest, with Albanian flags and portraits of Gjergj Kastrioti. At the head of the demonstrators, the Albanian orchestra principal played the Skanderbeg march and other patriotic songs.
