On November 20th, 1925 in the city of Elbasan, was born the prominent professor, psychologist, writer for children and the academician Bedri Dedja. He was graduated in the University of Moscow and after returning in homeland he gave lectures at the Pedagogical Institute of Tirana and Elbasan. He directed the Institute of Pedagogical Studies and prepared many generations of students at the University of Tirana. He left dozens volumes of poetry, stories, sketches, novels, literary studies and textbooks, etc. For his extensive activity, he was awarded with the title “Professor”, was elected member of the Academy of Sciences and was awarded with the Prize of First Instance of the Republic.
