PD leader Lulzim Basha has openly stated that he will not make a coalition with the LSI following the June 25th elections and Ilir Meta’s party will be in opposition.
In an interview for “Window with Rudina Jungën”, Basha said the LSI has abused power and will not be in government. He called on Democrats to leave the LSI to return to PD.
“The LSI has lost the fact that for the first time it understands that it will not be in power and the LSI will not be in power because it has abused power in eight years. He has built the model of a clientele party that climbs behind every coalition to seize jobs. This pattern of abuse will end.
The LSI has become a symbol of this power, the LSI will not be in power after June 25, this is 1000% safe. The LSI model will be punished and I wish to find the strength to return to a principled model. We will not govern with the LSI, do not make the fatal mistake that otherwise you will remain as a baftar in the parish of the Old Republic, “said Lulzim Basha.
Among other things, Basha also spoke about leaving the administration, suggesting that those who are violating the law are waiting for the prison.
‘I’m awaiting the arrests, because some are in the country with security measures, because the Criminal Code provides that they go at least 1 year behind the bars for abuse of office in the function of the vote. I urge the State to implement the Criminal Code that brings back those who bring or receive identity cards, those who violate the vote, those who promise and cheat for the vote, “Basha said.
