At the height of the debates and controversies that the election of the new head of the Academy of Sciences is producing, this institution has found a loner of Dritoro Agolli, to close the “mouth” to all those who have issued a series of criticisms towards them .
On their Facebook social network they have posted the latest student friendship, Dritero Agolli, who among other things said: “The Academy of Sciences is not a government issue, it is a national matter.”
We recall that the day before, Prime Minister Rama warned that the academy will have zero funds from the state budget if not reformed.

“The science academy is not a government matter, it is a national matter.”
The Academy of Sciences is an institution that needs to be strengthened, not weakened. It’s wrong to think that our Academy is a legacy of the past. It was founded by great scholars, who were formed in the universities by name.
The Academy of Sciences has always had skilled, knowledgeable and wise people. Any discussion, any reform, is just right if it is taken to make the Academy of Science the best, the most successful. See what the neighboring countries are doing.
Are the Macedonian academics, Greeks, Serbs, Montenegrins weakening or empowering their academy? Kosovo is also empowering its academy and doing well.
The peoples who have not yet fully recognized themselves in Europe and in the world, the academies are obliged to preserve and strengthen them. If they asked me, I would say that the Academy of Sciences should not only become more successful, but should be charged with assignments.
There are many questions that the government can not answer. Then who will ask for the answer?
Reform is a matter of thought and a project, not a matter of numbers. I believe that the Academy of Sciences has some people who can do the reform themselves, so they should be heard as they say, because they know better how the situation can change and how it can be more useful for the country. We need a reform to have a more dignified academy. And when I say so, I understand that the Academy is writhing and wrinkled more because of the foolish stance on political reforms, rather than for its own fault. Certainly the Academy must move, it should become more alive, more energetic, but let’s first ask why it is not the way we want it.
Why is our Academy Reduced?
