In January of 1821 on Wallachia of Romania a popular uprising erupted against the local feudal lords and the Ottoman invaders. The uprising was led by Tudor Vladimirescu. On March 21st, 1821, the rebels attacked and took with fight Bucharest. In the rebellion of Wallachian took part many Albanians who had immigrated to this country. They have played an important role not only as freedom fighters, as well as organizers and agitators, to urge the villagers on struggle for freedom. Tudor Vladimirescu was relied on the bravery and loyalty of Albanians and sent them to the hottest points of the war.
