Qemal Karagjozi descendant one of the oldest and popular families in Gjirokastra, after he finished Korca’s lyceum he continued the studies in the University of Political Sciences and then the Faculty of History in the University of Sorbona. During his studies he connected with antifascist group, where participate Ymer Dishnica and Zenel Hekali. In his motherland was the earliest member of the Albanian Communist Party, but twice he was excluded and was included two times too. After the war, suffering by heart disease, worked at the Science Institute. He died on October 17th1971.
