In Ferizaj, on 20 July 1908, was held a massive anti-Ottoman and anti-imperial manifestation of Kosovo Albanians. The Assembly of Ferizaj, as it entered history, approved the telegram addressed to the Sultan, where it was required the declaration of the constitution and the call of parliament. Ferizaj’s developments served as a decisive factor for the victory of the Xhonturk Revolution, which soon disillusioned our people’s hopes for freedom and independence.
