On December 25th, 1907 was born the famous Albanian artist Kristaq Antoniou. He began his artistic career in Bucharest. Since he was a student of Albanian canto professor Mihail Toskani he began the successful camerawork of artistic films, becoming one of the most prominent pioneers of Romanian cinematography. He was the protagonist in the first silent films of Romanian cinematography. At homeland he was known for close cooperation with Radio Tirana, as a performer of classical music and our songs. With the establishment of the Philharmonic, Theatre of Opera and Ballet and the musical educational institutions were opened wide campaign for the unfolding of Kristaq Antoniou skills and talent.
