After the declaration of independence on November 28th, 1912, the President of the Interim Government of Vlora, addressed a telegram to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Great Britain by which he announced the declaration of independence and demanded the recognition of the Albanian Government. This was the first step of the Albanian diplomacy in a difficult period that marked the rebirth of our diplomacy.
