The First Balkan War
On October 8th, 1912, the leader of Montenegro issued the first shell against the border fortresses with Albania and declared war to Turkey. On October 17th, Istanbul declared war to Rumania and Serbia and two days later to Greece. Thus began the First Balkan War, the bloody and painful consequences of which are still reverberating in the Balkan Peninsula and especially in our country.
